From the airport of Palermo Falcone Borsellino
With the car
Get out of the airport of Palermo and take the direction Palermo- Messina (A20). Drive for approximately 15 minutes. After that you will arrive at a bypass which is also called Viale Regione Siciliano. At this bypass you have to go straight on returning on the motorway Palermo- Messina (A20). After driving for approximately 35 minutes on this motorway you have to go out at the exit Cefalù. At this exit you have to pay 0,80€. After this exit you will be on the freeway 113 (SS113). You have to take the first street (approximately after 10 m after the exit)on your left. Now you are in Mazzaforno.
With the train
It is possible to take from the airport of Palermo the train “Trinacria Express” which takes you directly at the central station of Palermo. The train ticket costs 4,50 €. It will take you 40 minutes from the airport of Palermo to the central station of Palermo. The train leaves every 25 minutes ( from 6:00 AM to 22: 00 PM).
It is also possible to take a bus from the airport of Palermo to the central station of Palermo. The bus leaves every 30 minutes and the bus ticket costs 4,80€.
At the central station of Palermo you can take the train which will drive you directly at the central station of Cefalù.

From the airport of Catania
With the car
Get out of the airport of Catania and take the motorway A19, direction Palermo. After driving for approximately 1h and 50 minutes you have to take the exit Bounfornello. Take now the motorway A20, direction Messina until the exit Cefalù. As an alternative to this way you can also take the exit Bounfornello and after this take the railway 113 (SS113), direction Cefalù. After 15 minutes you will arrive at Cefalù.
With the train
It is possible to take the train which brings you from the airport of Catania to the central station of Catania. The train leaves every 20 minutes and the train ticket costs 4,00€.
At the central station of Catania you have two possibilities:
1) you can take the train to Messina and after arriving at Messina you can take the train to Palermo. From the central station of Palermo take the train to Cefalù.
2) Or, you can take the train Catania with the direction Termini Imerese and after arriving at the central station of Termini Imerese you can take the train which will bring you directly at the central station of Cefalù.
In both cases it will take you 3-4 hours.

From the airport of Messina
With the car
Take the motorway A20, direction Palermo. After 160 km take the exit Cefalù. Please follow the indication to Cefalù.

From Cefalù to the Isole Eolie
In the summertime it is possible to take a hydrofoil from Cefalù to the Isole Eolie. The hydrofoil leaves at 8:00 AM from Cefalù.
